History

I started making custom grips in the early 1970's after a tour of duty in Viet Nam and while serving as a Niagara Falls, New York police officer. At that time I competed in local and regional shooting sports events and began developing my own high performance, competition-style grips.

As a result I began making custom grips for fellow shooters and friends. Around 1980 I quit the police department and began making grips full time. They were well received, so I set up a small shop and began experimenting and improving the process so that it would not only meet the needs of individuals, but would also work for firearms manufacturers. This led me into the replacement grip industry.

As time went by, due to the precision fit to the frame and functional beauty, my grips drew the attention of collectors, competition shooters, law enforcement officers, and firearms professionals around the country. Over a period of years I became an OEM producer for Smith & Wesson, Sterling Arms, Iver Johnson, US Repeating Arms, Marlin, Winchester, and others.

Though the contract work has been rewarding and a mainstay of my business throughout the years, my reputation was built on, and continues to be based on, superior custom quality grips for the individual.

I specialize in custom inlayed grip designs rendered from precious materials such as ivory, platinum, gold, silver and mother of pearl.

Today I dedicate my entire effort to producing the finest custom quality grips in the industry specially made for each individual customer. These grips are 100% made in the USA, in GREENVILLE, SC, by me personally.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me by phone or email. Special orders are encouraged.

I thank you for your interest and look forward to working with you,
